KULTURMAMA

facilitating learning and dialogue through storytelling and play

For the past 6 years I’ve had the pleasure of reading and discussing literature with the most discerning of audiences: preschoolers.  I’m a die-hard library fan with a flair for creative storytelling and a LOVE (in capital letters) of a well written, beautifully designed picture book.

I’m deeply committed to diversity and representation in kids-lit, and to holding age appropriate conversations with children around themes of social justice and the emotional competences we need to be good citizens in our modern world. Through my alterego, Kulturmama, I organize English language story corners and offer resources for families to help them engage in big conversations with little humans.
